Clark | Weitz | Clarkson (CWC) and Edgemoor Infrastructure & Real Estate are pleased to add three Kansas City area-based firms to the KCI New Terminal Project team. Universal Construction Company, along with their partners at SE3 and SheDigs It, have been selected to execute the design and build of the logistics trailer complex, an 8.5-acre site that will house modular office trailers for subcontractors throughout the duration of the project.

The 4th-generation construction company specializes in schools, medical buildings, and correctional facilities. SheDigs It brings over 75 years of combined experience in excavation, utility, and plumbing work to the project team. A certified disadvantaged and women business enterprise, SheDigs It is headquartered in Blue Springs, Missouri.

“The Universal Construction team is both excited and honored to have the opportunity to be a part of the KCI New Terminal Project,” said Cynthia Smith, Universal Construction Chief Executive Officer. “It is a privilege for us to have a role, along with our local partners, on this historic project for the Kansas City community.”
