Water Main Replacement

SheDigs It, LLC was contracted by KC Water to complete the replacement of approximately 18,000 linear feet of 6-, 8-, and 12-inch water mains spanning Wornall Road to Oak Street and W. 66th Terrace to E. 72nd Street in Kansas City, Missouri.

Delivered as a full turnkey project, the scope included traffic control, street restoration, and comprehensive testing and chlorination of the new water system. The team also successfully transferred more than 450 water service connections from existing mains to the new infrastructure and installed 35 fire hydrant assemblies, enhancing system reliability and service capacity.
